Prefinio is an integrated online careers education and guidance system developed by The Morrisby Organisation. The site provides suggestions regarding courses, careers, learning providers and related resources which are tailored to an individual's interests, personal qualities and expectations. To take advantage of this process of tailoring and filtering users need to answer various questions regarding interests, preferences, attitudes, achievements and similar. Whenever you disclose any information that is personal to you (Personal Information), we will treat that information in accordance with this policy. We aim to meet the standards of best internet practice and will act in accordance with current applicable legislation.

This Policy explains how we use and protect your Personal Information. This Policy only applies to the Prefinio website and does not include any third party website linked to Prefinio. Users should carefully examine the privacy statements of sites linking to or from Prefinio. Any Personal Information that you choose to provide to other sites will be subject to the Privacy Policies of those websites.

Registration

In order to access the Prefinio site the user registers by providing a name. It is not essential to enter an e-mail address. If an e-mail address is provided, we will only use this for password reminder purposes. Access to the Prefinio site is password protected, and an individual username and password are supplied to the User when he or she first registers. The registration information is used to identify and authenticate the user when they access the website. This helps protect the users details from unauthorised access.

Access to your Personal Information

In addition to the Prefinio Team at the Morrisby Organisation, relevant, approved advisers at your centre of education, for example your school Careers Adviser, will have access to your information and Prefinio results.

Cookies in themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user's computer. The site also records the IP addresses for administration and troubleshooting purposes. These IP addresses are not linked to any personal information stored by The Morrisby Organisation although the IP number may constitute personal information in itself.

We use your personal information to provide you with tailored information on the website. Personal information may also be used to deliver support services including but not limited to adviser access, progress on the site, your plans, password recovery, answering enquiries, collating user feedback, and selecting prize draw winners.

Prefinio does NOT sell Personal Information to third parties. All personal information is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Termination

You can terminate your Prefinio registration at any time by emailing support@prefinio.com. We are required by law to keep some information after you have terminated your registration so that we are able to identify you as an ex-user. This information is kept to the absolute minimum.
